On Friday at around 2:50 p.m., a 57-year-old scooter driver from Venlo was driving on Lobbericher Straße in Nettetal-Breyell towards the city centre. At the intersection of Lobbericher Strasse and Haagstrasse, he was overtaken by a 34-year-old truck driver from Viersen-Dülken, who was driving in the same direction. It is not yet clear whether there was any contact. The scooter driver veered off the road to the right and collided with a lamppost. The impact was so severe that he had to be taken to hospital for treatment. His life is in danger. Lobbericher Strasse was completely closed for 4 hours while the accident was being recorded.

After the accident, I was immediately taken by ambulance to the hospital in Mönchengladbach Maria Hilf hospital, where 6 doctors tried to save my life for 8 hours, after that I underwent 3 more operations. And have fought many weeks more for my life,my body no longer produces red blood cells as a result of the serious traffic accident,I have had gallons of blood transfusions.

The company where Marco Zimmermann works as a truck driver is insured with Allianz, and Allianz does not want to admit guilt, even though Marco Zimmermann crashed into me.
